CONTRACT OVERSIGHT 400 MAN CAMP ERBIL AIRFIELD, IRAQ

 

A specialised Quality Management Services company, are currently looking to potentially recruit a APOD Operations QAE, for a project located at Erbil, (KAF) within Iraq, based on a existing contract initially for 1 year. The right candidate will have significant military operations/engineering experience from any of the three UK/NATO services and have held SNCO rank as a minimum. The right candidate shall inspect, audit and advise the client on systems, processes, compliance and facilities including Airfield Operations including but not limited to:

 

Building and facility maintenance.

Security and force protection fence maintenance.

Electrical Power generation and distribution.

Potable Water Production, storage and distribution.

Waste Water collection and disposal.

Solid waste (including hazardous material (HAZMAT) sorting, collection and disposal.

Facilities and ground cleaning

Laundry services.

Morale Welfare and Recreational (MWR) facility management.

Billeting Management services.

Vector/Pest Control services.

Minor New Works.

 

They will ensure contractors are fully compliant with all current legal requirements reporting to the client, and will ensure upcoming compliance changes are monitored and implemented in a timely and effective manner by the contractor. They will be fully aware of engineering industry compliance requirements and will be able to consult and advise on Airfield Operations issues at a local and corporate level. Excellent communication skills are a must with the ability to engage and communicate at both junior operator and senior staff levels.

Experience & Qualifications

 

Qualified to ISO9001:2008 Lead Auditor Standard (Training may be provided)

Hold or Ability to gain NATO SECRET Security Clearance

Qualified to ISO18001:2007 Standard (Desirable)

Qualified to ISO14001:2008 Standard (Desirable)

Appropriate Engineering/Operations Qualifications

Experience of working on deployed military operations/airfields.

A full clean driving license
